Families find a gentle welcome too, with children given space to play and enjoy their visit, while those coming for quiet moments or sociable gatherings will appreciate the spacious, well-arranged seating and the soft murmur of satisfied guests. The subtle background melodies and the faint clink of glasses complete the sensory picture of a place made to be savored slowly.

I took my car group for a Breakfast meet to The Hare this morning. Matt Tia and Eve were super friendly. The food was great and at a good price point. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and hope to return later in the year.

A first class experience. The Hare appears recently decorated in a period style and has a really good ambience as you enter. We chose steak pie, one with chips and one with mash. The food arrived quickly, well presented and piping hot. Pricing is competitive. Staff were attentive, but not overwhelming. Thoroughly recommended.

We generally visit earlier with younger kids and they enjoy playing by the river in the garden, the staff are great with kids, colouring books and pens are much appreciated! The service is sometime a little slow even when not busy. Apart from that, an enjoyable experience!
